Country-specific EMC tests
Electromagnetic compatibility of touch screens

The electromagnetic compatibility of electronics is an essential and
required quality feature, since the unintentional influencing of the function of
electronic devices can have unforeseeable consequences.

The requirement for the electromagnetic compatibility of devices is therefore set out in the
European Union and a variety of other markets.

For the sale of all electrical and electronic equipment within the EU, the following applies in accordance with
2004/108/EC that these devices:

comply with the relevant EMC standards depending on the product group,
be tested in an accredited EMC laboratory,
obtain a declaration of conformity signed by the manufacturer,
receive a marking with the CE mark affixed to the appliance.

Often, the technical requirements for the EMC (electromagnetic
compatibility) of products worldwide, but on closer inspection
country-specific details must be taken into account.

If a touch system is to be sold outside the EU, it may require EMC
Execute and certify tests to meet the respective requirements.
In state-of-the-art EMC laboratories, EMC measurements are carried out for our customers according to
international standards (IEC, ISO, EN, CISPR standards) and OEM specifications
realized.

Interelektronix's environmental simulation team is already in the development phase
Ensure that the finished touchscreen meets the EMC requirements of all intended countries

In order to integrate this goal into the development process right from the start,
Interelectronix appropriate advice and all necessary testing services

At the beginning of the project, we carry out EMC planning geared to the target markets.
The aim is to develop limit values for immunity and emission and
in the quality specifications.
