Printing Digital printing and screen printing
The glass surface of a touchscreen offers plenty of scope for individual design that sets no limits to your creativity.
A high-quality print not only increases the functionality and ergonomics of a touchscreen, but also makes its design unique and attractive for the sales market.

High-precision printing techniques such as
- screen printing or
- digital printing
offer almost unlimited possibilities for individual design. Interelectronix ensures that you get the desired result by coordinating printing technology, colors and materials and combining the highest standard with individual design.
Due to the different set-up costs, screen printing is more suitable for larger batch sizes, while digital printing is ideal for samples and small and medium-sized series.
With both printing techniques
- high quality,
- permanently color-intensive and
- high-precision printing
can be carried out. Both processes are carried out by printing behind the protective glass, which protects the print from environmental influences.
Back printing of protective glass
The protective glass is printed by printing on the back of the glass.

Back printing can be done using screen printing or borderless digital printing, with both single and multi-colored prints possible. Both printing processes are characterized by high accuracy in terms of colour fidelity and dimensional tolerance.
Disappearance printing
Reversal printing is a reverse printing process that can be used to achieve special effects, especially for touchscreens. It is often used to display black frames or touch points at defined points. The printing is done in black.
When the display is switched off, the surface appears black throughout. When the display is switched on, the printed areas appear as frames, hidden areas or fixed menu items.
High quality colors
Different areas of application bring with them specific environmental influences that can negatively affect the color brilliance and longevity of the colors
For example, outdoor applications are exposed to sunlight for particularly long periods, which is why UV-resistant inks are recommended. In many industrial applications, on the other hand, very high or very low temperatures affect the touchscreen and thus impair the longevity of the print.

High-quality printing inks 1k and 2k
As environmental influences can significantly affect the service life of the print and therefore the touchscreen, Interelectronix analyzes the expected environmental conditions in detail and uses suitable inks accordingly. The result is high-quality prints that are optimized for the application.
For screen printing, special 1k or 2k organic-based inks are used, which are baked in drying ovens.
Depending on the defined environmental conditions, printing can be carried out with UV-resistant inks or ceramic stoving inks.
Semi-transparent prints or mirror-effect inks are also available for screen printing
